WOBURN SAFARI PARK PHOTOGRAPHY BEDFORDSHIRE

Off-Road Access to All Areas

We will be off-road throughout the park, and this will enable us to position the vehicle wherever we choose. We can therefore make the best use of the available light and, more importantly, can ensure that we have backgrounds that are free from the usual park fences and vehicles.

Real African Safari Experience in England

Have you ever dreamed of what it is like to actually go on safari? This wildlife photography workshop at Woburn Safari park provides the closest comparison you will ever experience in the UK to actually being abroad on safari.

Photograph Lions, Tigers, Wolves & Bears

Our main focus will be on lions, lion cubs, tigers, brown bears and wolves. We will then spend as much time as allows photographing the remainder of what Woburn has to offer.

Close-up Photos of all Prime Species

Amazingly, we will be photographing the animals from just a few feet away. This is wildlife photography at its best.  There will be no obstructions between ourselves and the animals, so you should be leaving this workshop with some phenomenal wildlife photos.  Go to our Woburn Safari Park photo gallery and see the resulting pictures for yourself.

What Type of Camera Do I Need?

You will be close enough to the animals to take photos like these with a compact camera.  300mm was largest lens used to take these pictures.

Maximum of 3 Photographers per 8-seater Vehicle

Photographers on Safari have decided to make this trip even more special. Instead of having six photographers fighting for spaces inside the vehicle, we will have just three. This will mean that each of you has a window seat on the one side of the vehicle that is perfectly positioned for you take stunning close-up photos. You will not be shooting over a colleagues shoulder trying to squeeze two cameras where there is only room for one.

Customer's Recommendation

"Your Woburn Photography Safari was quite simply, stunning! My thanks for providing a unique and privileged opportunity to see some of the world’s most amazing animals far closer than most will ever dream of. Your guidance enabled me to come away with my best pictures ever and has truly energized my photography. I look forward to joining you on future trips and have already recommended you to several friends and colleagues. Many thanks."     Richard Lawson

Photograph Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra & Monkeys

We have privileged VIP access to virtually all areas of the park during our time at Woburn Safari Park. We can take photos of most species contained within the park. The safaris are quite flexible and we can spend more or less time with each group's choice of subjects. Once you have got all the photos you want of the predators, then we will visit the above animals as well.

Inside the Lemur enclosure

We will finish our session photographing and feeding the Lemurs. These wonderful creatures have no fear of humans and will readily climb on your shoulders. Only wide angle lenses are required here.

Photographic Tuition

Photographers on Safari will accompany you throughout the workshop and will offer continued advice on techniques, camera settings and how maximise your opportunities for excellent wildlife photos.

Customer's Recommendation

"Congratulations on a splendid safari. Quite the best photographic day I've had in 20 years. Highlights were getting so close to the lions, and finding myself being used as a feeding station by the lemurs".          Roy Kneeshaw

Wildlife photography at it's best

Due to the cost of this exclusive arrangement, we have to limit the time in the vehicle to three hours. However you can be sure this will be THREE HOURS OF PURE MAGIC.
