We have changed what has been an extremely successful format for spotting Tigers in India. Our previous favourite location has been Bandhavgarh. Unfortunately this park is now undergoing severe difficulties. It is this situation that has forced us to look elsewhere. We have opted for a “little known” park called Tadoba. I did “recce” here in March 2015 and spent more than 4 hours with Tigers plus 90 minutes with Wild Dogs (Dholes). I also saw a Leopard and a considerable list of other animals and Birds. The most vehicle-friendly Tigress is pregnant so there should be some great sightings of Tiger Cubs next year. This safari will be combined with 5 days photography on the Chambal River. The Gharials were amazing –as was the birdlife.
