World Heritage Foundation is, without doubt, UK’s number one venue for photographing Big Cats. No other location in the UK can offer anywhere near the photo opportunities that we are offering here. WHF has now become a breeding centre of excellence, and is playing its part in conservation, hoping to provide pedigree breeding stock to release programs. 2011 saw the birth of 2 Sumatran Cubs.
These will continue to provide you with great photographs throughout 2013. 2012 saw the births of 2 Amur Leopard Cubs. These are the rarest cats on the planet. We will photograph these little darlings as they grow for the next 2 years.
There were also 3 Amur Tiger Cubs born in July 2012 plus 2 Serval kittens. Special Cubs workshops will be held in October 2012 to photograph what we can. it may not be possible to photograph the Amur Tiger Cubs until 2013.
More Babies Planned at WHF for 2013 ????
It is never our policy to count “chickens” before they are “hatched” but good preparation is the key to success. Photographers on Safari will be the only outside company to offer people the opportunity to photograph these animals in Kent. There has been mating within the new White Lions group and the Snow Leopards have also mated. Nothing is guaranteed but 2013 is looking as if the opportunities will be quite unique. Watch these workshop pages regularly so that you do not miss any really special photo opportunities.
